About This Tournament

The Amber Lake Open Driven by Innova Discs is an annual disc golf tournament hosted by the Wisconsin American Legion Post 182 of Park Falls, WI. The event is held at the world-renowned Sandy Point Resort & Disc Golf Ranch in Lac du Flambeau, WI. Proceeds from the event benefit the Park Falls Recreation Arena to provide local children with opportunities to participate in hockey, figure skating, and other youth activities.

Tournament Format
The Amber Lake Open is a singles competition at Sandy Point Resort. It has a flex start time, meaning there are no set tee times. Players may begin play whenever they are ready, and scorecards must be turned in by 6pm.
All players will play from the short tee pads. Players in the following divisions will play the long (blue) baskets: MPO, FPO, MA1, FA1, MA2 and FA2. Players in all other divisions will play the short (green) baskets.
First place ties will be decided by a closest-to-pin throw-off at 6pm. Any other ties will split prize money.
There is a minimum of three players per card with a max of five players per card. Players in different divisions may play on the same card. Players may begin play on at any basket to avoid course congestion, but all baskets must be played in order.

Amateur (skill-based): MA1, FA1, MA2, FA2, MA2, FA3, MA4, FA4
Amateur (age-based): MA40, FA40, MA50, FA50, MA60, FA60
Amateur (youth): MJ12, FJ12, MJ15, FJ15, MJ18, FJ18
Entry Fees
Entry fees for 2026 are $45 for all divisions except for MJ12, FJ12, MJ15, FJ15 which are $40.
Ace pool is optional for an additional $5.

Player Packs
Player packs are included for players in all divisions (pro, amateur, and youth), limited to the first 75 registrants. After 75 registrants are reached, players will receive a voucher for the Sandy Point Pro Shop in lieu of a player pack.
Player pack are valued well over $50. These player packs will include two different event-exclusive discs with new artwork and other items. Full player pack details will be announced in May.

Prizes
Trophy discs for 1st place finishers in all divisions.
Top finishers in all amateur divisions receive vouchers for use at the Sandy Point Pro Shop.
MPO & FPO divisions are trophy-only this year (no cash or voucher payouts for pros).
We also have challenge coins awarded for closest-to-pin contests.
Ace Pool: If any aces are scored, the winner(s) will receive 50% of the ace pool. The other 50% will be donated to the Park Falls Recreation Arena. If no aces are scored, the ace pool will carry over to next year's event.
We also have basket raffles for a variety of awesome prizes generously donated by out great sponsors. Raffle tickets are $1 each and you do not need to be present to win.
