Tournament Format
The Amber Lake Open is a singles competition that utilizes all 29 holes at Sandy Point. It has a flex start time, meaning there are no set tee times. Players may begin play whenever they are ready, though scorecards must be turned in by 6pm.
All players will play from the short tee pads. Players in the following divisions will play the long (blue) baskets: MPO, FPO, MA1, FA1, MA2 and FA2. Players in all other divisions will play the short (green) baskets.
First place ties in MPO and FPO will result in sudden-death playoffs. All other divisions will use a closest-to-pin throw-off to break first place ties. Any other ties will split prize money.
There is a minimum of three players per card with a max of five players per card. Players in different divisions may play on the same card. Players may begin play on any hole to avoid course congestion, but all holes must be played in order.
